Albany Prestige Realty is a real estate agency in Albany, based at North Road Shopping Centre. We were established in 2006 and we handle house sales, residential rentals, land and rural property. The way we describe our own work is an honest and reliable approach to residential sales and property management at competitive rates. Our service area runs beyond the town boundary: Albany, Mount Barker, Kendenup, Bremer Bay and the districts around them. A Great Southern book, not just an Albany one
Our listings show where we actually work. At any one time the board carries suburban homes in Spencer Park, Yakamia, Centennial Park and Bayonet Head, building blocks at Kendenup along First, Third and Seventh Avenue, rural land out at Tenterden, coastal blocks at Bremer Bay, and units for lease in Mount Barker. One office covers all of it, which means the same team leasing a house in Spencer Park is also handling a rural sale at Tenterden and a block at Bremer Bay. If you are moving into the region rather than within it, that range is usually the useful part.
What we handle
Our four lines of work
- Residential sales: established homes across Albany’s suburbs and the surrounding towns, from Bayonet Head through to Kendenup.
- Residential rentals: houses and units for lease, managed from the North Road office. Skye Stead handles property management alongside sales.
- Land sales: vacant blocks and estate lots, including the current release at The Cove Estate in Spencer Park and blocks at Kendenup.
- Rural sales: acreage and country properties in places such as Tenterden and Kendenup, where the land matters as much as the house on it.
The people you will deal with
Geoff Oldfield is our principal. Our sales team is Janyce Nichol, John Nichol, Sheryl Lee, Skye Stead, Nicky Guretti, Oliver Doring, Lynn Heppell and Brendon Nowotny, and Emma Oldfield looks after reception and is usually the first voice you hear. Every one of them is listed on our site with a direct mobile number, so if you are dealing with a particular agent about a particular property you can reach that person directly rather than going through the switchboard. Sales and property management sit in the same office, which is useful if you are selling one property and leasing another.
Appraisals, opening hours and getting in touch
If you are weighing up a sale, you can request a market appraisal through our website and we will come and look at the property. If you are renting, our current leasing stock is listed on the site as it becomes available, and recently leased and recently sold properties stay up so you can see what has actually moved. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, and we are closed on weekends — worth knowing before you drive out to North Road on a Saturday.
