Dog Rock Motel & Convention Centre: Motel Accommodation in Albany WA
We are at 303 Middleton Road, directly opposite the granite outcrop the motel takes its name from. Dog Rock Motel offers motel accommodation in Albany for holiday travellers, work trips, families and function guests, with an onsite restaurant and bar, a convention centre and free off-street parking. The main street is 50 metres away and two shopping centres sit just across the road. Middleton Beach is a five-minute drive and Albany Airport about fifteen. The city centre, York Street, the Visitor Centre, Anzac Peace Park, the Museum and the Brig Amity are all a stroll from our front door.
Rooms and self-contained apartments

Lime 303, our restaurant and bar
Lime 303 is our onsite restaurant, so you can eat well without leaving the motel. The menu runs to modern Australian cooking and a range of seafood dishes, built around fresh local seasonal produce. Local wines and craft beers are poured in the wine lounge from 5.00pm daily, and room service is available if you have had a long day. Breakfast is served 6.30am to 9.30am Monday to Friday and 7.00am to 10.00am on weekends and public holidays. Takeaway is available too — call 08 9844 4444 for a booking or a takeaway order.
Functions at the Dog Rock Convention Centre
The convention centre is roughly 230 square metres, with the option to hire the adjoining Lime 303 restaurant area as well, and it can be configured several ways. Hire rates include room set-up, pack-down and cleaning. There is free business-class Wi-Fi, reverse-cycle air conditioning, audio, visual and communication equipment, a bar facility on cash or tab where applicable, and a dance floor where applicable. Catering comes from Lime 303 and the centre has its own dedicated staff. We host weddings, conferences, seminars, workshops, corporate breakfasts, lunches and dinners, cocktail parties, sundowners, birthdays, reunions and wakes. Book a function or wedding with us and all attendees receive an accommodation discount, with the couple given a complimentary night in an Executive King room including breakfast.
Booking, check-in and finding us
Standard check-in is 2pm. If you know you will arrive after office hours, email or ring ahead and we will set up an easy late check-in; ring on the day if you are unexpectedly delayed. All areas have high-speed Wi-Fi, and the motel has a full-service 24-hour laundry, heating and free parking. We do not take pets, though service animals are welcome. A chemist sits in the shopping complex out the front, several doctors’ surgeries are within walking distance, and the hospital is a five-minute drive.
