Furniture, homewares and art in an 1896 heritage building
The Red Mill Store occupies one of Bunbury’s iconic heritage buildings on Stirling Street, dating back to 1896. We have filled the space with a thoughtfully curated collection of furniture, homewares, gifts and artwork, with a strong emphasis on Western Australian makers.
What you will find in store
Our collection ranges from small giftware and homewares through to substantial furniture pieces. A small selection of bespoke items is available in store, and custom orders are welcome.
Handmade furniture
Studio Milton, based here, combines design with craftsmanship and a love for Western Australian native hardwoods. Paul has spent the past twenty years designing and crafting bespoke pieces.
Supporting local makers
We stock work from South West and Western Australian makers, including Willow Tree Skincare, The Herbal Emporium and artist Chelsea Hopkins-Allan.
The building
Over its long life the building has been an ironworks and foundry, a homewares and hardware showroom, a bakery, a general store with fuel bowsers out front, a cake-maker, an artist studio, an art gallery and a photography studio.
