Family owned since 2010
We have been going since 2010, and family owned from the beginning. It started as a one-man show. It is now a team of mechanics with more than 60 years of experience between them, including specialists in repairs to machinery, trucks and trailers. Our staff are like family. We have also been able to give something back to the community over the years, through donating and volunteering.
A workshop set up for heavy vehicles
The workshop is fully equipped and has road train access, so you are not trying to thread a long combination into a yard that was never built for one. We are an Approved Inspection Station for Department of Transport heavy vehicles, which means an inspection can be done here rather than sending the truck elsewhere for it. We take the back end of the job seriously as well: we recycle, and we meet EPA requirements for oil and waste disposal.
Servicing, repairs and rebuilds
Regular servicing is what keeps fuel efficiency up and adds to the overall life of a vehicle, so a good share of the work here is planned maintenance. The rest is what happens when something lets go.
What we take on
- The All In One package: oil change, battery test, alignment, coolant and hydraulic fluids, light check, tyres, exhaust, engine oil replacement, engine tuning and suspension, done in the one visit.
- Oil changes and filters: synthetic or conventional motor oils, whichever you prefer.
- Department of Transport inspections: heavy vehicle inspections carried out on site as an approved inspection station.
- Trailer repairs: we repair and maintain what is behind you, not only the prime mover.
- Engine rebuilds: a rebuild or replacement is a serious outlay, so the aim is to get you back on the road quickly and safely.
- Emergency repairs: for when you need to keep going in a hurry.
- Mobile service: fully mobile, so we can come to the vehicle instead of the vehicle coming to us.
- Machinery: not just trucks and trailers — machinery comes through here too.
Parts, hours and booking in
On parts, the choice is yours. We use both genuine and aftermarket, and we will fit whichever you want. The workshop runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm, and is closed Saturday and Sunday.
