Grow Safe: Mineral and Biological Fertilisers Made in the Great Southern
We make fertiliser at Tenterden, on the Albany Highway in the Great Southern. Grow Safe is the fertiliser brand of Australian Mineral Fertilisers, and the business was started in 2000 by a group of farmers and business people from this region — which is to say it was set up by people who had to use the product themselves. If you’re looking for fertiliser suppliers in the Great Southern, everything we sell is manufactured here rather than brought in.
Minerals and soil microbes together
Our products bring together essential minerals and specially coated soil microbes, which is what we mean when we call them living fertilisers. The intention is to feed the soil as well as the crop, so the ground is in better shape season after season rather than just this one. That approach suits paddocks and garden beds alike, which is why the range splits the way it does.
What we make
Our ranges
- Agricultural fertilisers: for broadacre and farm use, including an organic fertiliser range.
- Farmer 20kg: one of our named products in the agricultural line.
- Residential garden and landscaping fertilisers: the same thinking, in quantities a home gardener can actually carry.
- Grow Safe Gardener 20kg: a slow release fertiliser for the garden.
