Autospark Albany is an auto electrical workshop at 72 Chester Pass Road, Albany. Batteries are the job most people ring us about, so that is where we will start: we inspect them, recharge them and replace them, across cars, trucks, SUVs, caravans, farm machinery, 4WDs and boats. The battery work we do
- Inspection, recharging and replacement: the starting point for most jobs through the door.
- Dual battery systems: dual and auxiliary battery installations, including REDARC set-ups for caravans and trailers.
- Lithium battery solutions: one of our listed specialty fit-outs.
- Deep cycle batteries: the batteries that run a fit-out rather than start an engine.
- Solar installations: fitted out of the same workshop.
- Alternators and starter motors: diagnosis and repair.
- Power generators: Yamaha generators for power away from the vehicle, sold as well as fitted.
The 12-volt shop
Alongside the workshop we keep a sizeable shop of 12V products for 4WDs, motor homes and caravans. It is the difference between a vehicle you drive somewhere and a vehicle you can live out of once you get there, and most of what is on the shelves we also fit.

The rest of the auto electrical work
Beyond batteries we take on air conditioning repair, regas, servicing and testing, electrical diagnosis, electronic fuel injection, vehicle lighting including spotlights and lightbars, custom wiring, wiring and circuit repairs, accessory installation and general mechanical work. The wiring side goes well past cars: machinery, tractor and semi-trailer wiring is a regular part of the week, which is what you would expect of the one regional branch in a network that is otherwise metropolitan. We see Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Isuzu and Hino among the passenger vehicles, plus trailers, caravans, trucks, machinery and marine.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, closed on weekends, with alternate hours over the Christmas period. There is a waiting lounge with Wi-Fi and tea and coffee facilities, bathrooms, and a drop-off service if you would rather leave the vehicle with us than sit it out.
