A factory big enough to bring the whole van into
Our tradespeople specialise in the custom manufacture, modification and repair of fabric based structures, from outdoor blinds through to boat covers. The advantage of our Locke Street site is space: we have a large factory where we can store and work on your camper, caravan or bus, so the job does not have to happen in your driveway in the wind. If it suits you better the other way round, we make house calls to measure up and to fit as well.
Everything is made to measure. There is no standard size in this trade, because no two boats, no two verandahs and no two trailers are quite the same.

Our canvas and PVC range
- Outdoor blinds: clear or tinted PVC and mesh, manual or Ziptrak. We are an authorised Ziptrak fabricator.
- Boat covers and hoods: along with boat canopies, made to the shape of your boat.
- Annexes, campers and tents: new work as well as repairs and modifications to what you already own.
- Awnings and roller awnings: for houses, shopfronts and vans.
- Shade sails and shade structures: made and installed to suit the span you have.
- Trailer canopies and covers: including tonneau work and heavy machinery covers.
- Tarpaulins and roll tarps: plus windbreaks, windsocks and fly strip doors.
- The odd jobs: bags, banners, sails, sheep feeders, dog beds and trampolines. If it is made of fabric, ask us.
How a job runs, from measure to fit
We work through four stages, and they are the same whether the job is a single blind or a full annexe. First one of our tradespeople takes accurate measurements, either here at the factory or at your place, so the finished item fits properly. Second we design it to your specifications, which is where you choose the fabric and the colour. Third we manufacture it from those plans. Fourth, if the job needs fitting or installing, we set it all up for you, again either in the factory or at your home.
Being local matters for the repair side of the business. Fabric fails in the sun and the salt air, and being able to drop something in on a Tuesday and talk to the person who will actually stitch it is the reason a lot of our customers come back.
