Pharmacy 777 Albany Community is a pharmacy in Albany at 18 Pioneer Road, Centennial Park. Vaccinations here are given in a private consultation room rather than at the counter.
Some practical detail before you come in. You do not need a prescription to get a vaccination. We prefer you to make a booking for all vaccinations, and bookings can be made online as well as by phone. Allow 20 to 30 minutes for the appointment. Bring your Medicare card, identification, and your HBF membership card if that applies to you. After the vaccination you will need to wait in the pharmacy for 15 minutes, so that we can be sure you have had no adverse reaction. Sleep apnoea and CPAP
This pharmacy offers sleep apnoea screening and a home sleep study. The process begins with a 15-minute sleep health consultation with the pharmacist, who will discuss your symptoms, work out whether a home sleep study is appropriate for you, and explain whether a referral is needed. Where a sleep study is done, the results are reviewed and the pharmacist then talks you through what happens next.
For people going on to use CPAP, we offer a CPAP trial and CPAP aftercare. The trial is about finding the most appropriate CPAP equipment, the best fitting mask and the most suitable machine settings, before you decide whether to buy. Aftercare covers checking the equipment and advising when equipment or consumables should be replaced, along with support around general sleep issues. These are separate services rather than a single package, so it is worth ringing to ask what each one involves and what it costs before you start. Sleep appointments can be booked online as well as by phone.
