We are a family owned business at 48 Cockburn Road, Mira Mar, and we have been working in Albany for over 30 years, having grown out of Caramia Electrical. We do the whole job, not part of it

All of that work is done by our own full-time employees rather than contractors. There are 29 of us: seven office staff, a storeman, 14 tradesmen and seven apprentices. It means the quality control sits with us, and there is nobody else to point at if something is not right. We are careful around your house and we leave a clean, neat job behind.

Our place at 48 Cockburn Road has a big showroom where you can look at, test and ask about the things we design, build and install: air conditioning systems, automatic sliding gates, CCTV, electrical switchboards and plenty more. Staff are there for product demonstrations, and our own solar system runs on site if you want to see one working rather than read about it. The rest of the trade
Air conditioning is one part of a much wider job list. Our electricians, technicians and workshop fabricators wire new homes, handle additions, renovations and rewires, and fit smart wiring, computer cabling, television points and antenna points. On the commercial side we look after retail shops, factories, workshops, learning institutions, farms and offices, including office fit outs, area lighting, telephone systems and front door entry. We supply and install solar power systems, grid connected or stand alone, anywhere in the Great Southern, with app monitoring on Android or iOS. We install EV chargers, Level 1 and Level 2, at homes and businesses. We also do preventative maintenance work that is easy to forget about, such as thermal imaging of a switchboard to find hot joints before they start a fire, and testing RCD safety switches and smoke detectors.
Alongside the electrical side we cover security and communications. That takes in alarm systems, which can be fully 24 hour monitored or set to dial out to private numbers and mobiles and can even watch plant and equipment for vital function failures, plus CCTV, access control, roller shutters, outdoor blinds, duress alarms, safes, automatic gates, security lighting and intercoms. Phone and data work covers fibre optic, telephone and modem points, public address and structured network cabling. Fire safety runs from household smoke alarms up to full smoke and fire detection and emergency warning systems.
