Great Southern Boundaries: Fencing, Gates and Retaining Walls in Albany WA
We are fencing contractors in Albany, based at 26 Allerton Street in Robinson and working across the Great Southern. Great Southern Boundaries was established in 2006 by Toby Robins. In February 2024 Carl Frow bought the business from its founder and took over as director. We supply and install fencing, gates and retaining walls, and we take on domestic, rural, commercial and security work.

Most jobs come down to picking the right material for the boundary, so it helps to know what we carry. These are the lines we supply and put up ourselves.
Our fencing range
- Colorbond fencing and gates: steel fencing, supplied with a 10-year warranty on the materials.
- Security mesh fencing: a solid barrier that still lets you see through it, in galvanised or black PVC-coated finishes.
- Aluminium and pool fencing: slat fencing that resists rust and corrosion, with flat-top options suited to pool areas.
- Timber fencing: traditional picket and pinelap styles, with all pine treated to Australian Standard.
- Retaining walls: limestone block and Twinside walls, in natural grey or cream.
- Rural fencing: ringlock on pine posts or galvanised star pickets, set up to suit the paddock.

Fencing here has to hold up to a lot of weather and a lot of stock, and the job is rarely the same twice. On rural properties we run ringlock and gates; on commercial and industrial sites we put in security mesh where a boundary needs to be seen through as well as held.
