We are a father-and-son plumbing and gas business working out of Albany and across the Great Southern. Two Generations of Frickers, Starting in 1979
Bill Fricker built this business from the ground up in 1979, originally based in Perth. His son Rhys followed him into the trade, and the two of them run it now. Between them they cover the plumbing, the gas work and the backflow side, which is why most jobs can be handled without bringing in a second contractor partway through.
The Plumbing and Gas Jobs We Take On
Between us we cover the everyday plumbing work and the gas work that needs a gas fitter, for households and for commercial premises. Nothing on the list below is unusual for us — it is what the week is made of.
Our Services
- Blocked drains and toilets: domestic and commercial, with a drain machine on the jobs that need one.
- Gas appliances: servicing, installing, replacing and repairing all gas appliances, including gas meters and regulators.
- Hot water units: electric, solar and gas systems, and the piping that runs to them.
- Taps, toilets and tap-ware: cisterns, pans and seats included.
- Roofs, gutters and downpipes: roof leak repairs, and gutter and downpipe repair and replacement.
- Heaters: fire, gas, electric and water heaters.
- Sewer and drainage: sewer connections, septic tanks, leach drains, backflow and mains connections.
- Leaks and backflow: gas or water leak work and backflow testing.
Caravans, Kitchens and Bathrooms
Caravans are a part of the business we handle directly, which cuts out the middle man: hot and cold water repairs, gas and waste connections, and general caravan repair and servicing. We also take on renovation work. If you are planning a new kitchen or bathroom, or you have a job that someone else started and left unfinished, ask us what we can offer.
Where We Travel and What a Call-Out Costs
We cover all of the Great Southern, including Albany, Denmark, Mount Barker, the Stirling Ranges and Bremer Bay. There are no call-out fees between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and no travel charge within a 25 kilometre radius of the Albany CBD. Inside that radius we will come out and give you an obligation-free quote; outside it, we can quote over the phone or by email. Ask us about our pensioner and loyalty discounts.
