We trade as Castlehow, from 25 Minna Street, Albany, and we have been working here since 1949. Alarms, access control and cameras are one part of what we do, sitting alongside electrical, data, fire protection and construction work across Albany and the Great Southern. We provide end-to-end support across design, installation, integration and maintenance, and our security clients include hospitals, schools, government agencies and commercial operators around Albany and the Great Southern. Maintenance, compliance and after-hours call-outs
A security system is only as good as its upkeep, so we run planned maintenance programs that fold fire extinguishers, test and tag, CCTV, emergency lighting, RCD testing and thermographic inspections into single visits rather than a string of separate ones. Our maintenance work also covers switchboard and electrical joint thermal imaging, emergency lighting inspections and repairs, and emergency generator checks and servicing. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for urgent requests and equipment failures, for government, industrial and commercial clients.

Our data and communications team installs Cat6, Cat6A and Cat7 network cabling, fibre optic cabling with termination and testing, data and server cabinets, wireless access points, VOIP phone systems, PA and nurse call systems and TV distribution. We work with CommScope/Krone, Panduit, Siemon and Molex, which carries 15 to 25 year manufacturers’ warranties on new installations and qualified upgrades. We build switchboards in our own manufacturing department here in Albany, from load centres through to motor control centres, to AS61439. We do underground and high voltage work including horizontal directional drilling from 25mm to 500mm, trenching, and cable locating with ground penetrating radar. Our fire protection work covers sprinklers, hydrants, pump sets, emergency warning systems, extinguishers and emergency lighting, tested against AS 2118, AS 2419 and AS/NZS 2293.
