The workshop is not Suzuki-only. We service most makes and models of outboard motor, and the work extends well past engines.

On the Suzuki side, the maintenance schedule is worth knowing. Engine oil and the oil filter go at an initial 20 hours, then the oil every 100 hours or once a year and the filter once a year. Gear oil goes at 20 hours, then every 100 hours or annually, with new gaskets on the level and drain plugs each time. Fuel deteriorates in a few months, which is behind a lot of hard starting, so fresh fuel and a clean fuel filter matter. Wash the exterior and flush the cooling passage with fresh water after every run — on this coast that is not optional. Service history is documented in your Owner’s Warranty and Service Record Book and reported to Suzuki Australia.
Suzuki outboards, from 2.5 to 350 horsepower
Our outboard range runs from small 2.5HP tiller motors through to 350HP, grouped as 30–2.5HP, 90–40HP, 175–100HP and 350–200HP, plus the Stealth Line with its matte black finish, including the DF350AT Stealth. There is a performance test section on our site that pairs specific engines with specific hulls so you can see power and fuel figures for a combination close to your own boat before you commit to it. Suzuki rigging accessories are available too — multi-function gauges, precision controls, keyless start systems and propellers.
Why the servicing dealer matters for your warranty
Suzuki’s recreational outboard warranty is three years, with a bonus three-year period on top — but the bonus period only holds if the motor is serviced to the schedule, exclusively by an authorised Suzuki dealer, using genuine parts and oils. Service it elsewhere or fit non-genuine parts and the remaining bonus warranty is forfeited. Commercial registrations work differently again, at one or two years depending on hours run, and the DF350A is excluded from commercial warranty altogether. We are an authorised dealer, so servicing here keeps that bonus period intact. It is worth knowing before the first service, not after.
In store: parts, electronics and used stock
Alongside new outboards we carry used boats, used trailers and used outboards, so there is usually something in the yard at a lower entry price — a Quintrex Estuary Angler 420 is the sort of thing that turns up. Over the counter we stock accessories, trailer parts, safety equipment, anchoring gear and consumables. For sounders and chartplotters we handle Lowrance and Simrad, including the HDS LIVE, Elite Ti2 and HOOK2 ranges, and we can fit what you buy rather than leaving you to work it out in the driveway.
Who we are, and when we are open
GB Marine is owned by Grant Stone, who puts it plainly: he has been in the industry a long time, through many highs and lows, and still has a real passion for what boat ownership offers people — whether that is the solitude of a favourite fishing spot or taking the family out for a ski and a picnic on the water.
