We have been operating since 2006 and we are a locally owned family business. We started as a small workshop and have grown into a one stop shop with a fully equipped workshop and showroom at 2/205 Chester Pass Road, Albany. Our workshop
We service all brands of outboard and inboard motors, and most makes of outboard and stern-drive. Between us we have over 30 years of experience in the marine industry, and the work is done by qualified marine technicians. Alongside the servicing we re-wire boats, sell and fit electronics, and carry out minor fibreglass repairs. We handle trailer repairs and modifications as well as boat repairs and modifications, and we can arrange water testing. We are a Hull Identification Number provider, we write condition reports for insurance, and we can help with finance and with marine insurance through Club Marine. The team is small and you will get to know it quickly: Russel is owner and manager, Sue is the other owner and runs admin, Ruby looks after admin and shop sales, Mitchell is our outboard technician, and Kiama is our apprentice.
Boats, motors and trailers
We are agents for a set of brands we know and can get parts for, rather than everything under the sun. Boats often go out as a package, with the hull, outboard and trailer matched and rigged before you tow it away, and we keep used motors on the floor as well as new ones.
What we sell
- Outboards: agents for Honda and Mercury four-stroke outboard motors, new and used.
- Aluminium boats: agents for Seajay and Westerberg.
- Used boats: hulls such as Quintrex, Savage and Reefa come through the showroom.
- Trailers: Dunbier Marine, Mackay Trailers and Westerberg, sold on their own or as part of a boat, motor and trailer package.
- Electronics: Humminbird, Furuno and Garmin sounders and navigation gear, sold and fitted.
- On the water: Minn Kota electric motors, Ocean Kayak, RFD safety gear and Hempel paints.
In the shop
The showroom carries a large range of gear for boaties. Our product sections cover anchors and winches, boating accessories, electrical products, hatches and vents, hull, deck and cabin fittings, lighting, navigation equipment, oils, sealants and paints, outboard and fuel fittings, rigging equipment, safety equipment, seats, steering equipment and trailer accessories. There is a freediving range too. Day to day that means everything from inflatable PFDs and rod holders to trailer lights, poly rollers, straps, spark plugs, water pump repair kits and transducer brackets. We are also the people to see for stainless steel fasteners and fittings, which are the parts that are never in the shed when you need them. Gift vouchers are available if you are buying for someone else.
