We handle property settlements in Albany alongside wills, estates, commercial leasing and non-contentious family law matters. Our office is at Unit 1, 91–93 Aberdeen Street, Albany, and the firm opened its doors in 2021. We act for all types of clients: individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and families.
A Solicitor on Site
Settlements and legal advice often sit in two different offices. Here they sit in one. We have an in-house solicitor, and our principal oversees every settlement transaction, so when a question comes up part-way through a transaction it can be answered here rather than sent out to another firm.
We put a lot of weight on open communication through a property transaction, and we take you through the process from start to finish. We also aim to identify issues early, while there is still room to deal with them, rather than at the end of a transaction.

Legal Services
Alongside settlements we act on wills, enduring powers of attorney and enduring powers of guardianship. Every person is different, so we use our experience and knowledge to shape an estate plan around your wishes.
Fiona is experienced in contested and uncontested estates, grant of probate applications, letters of administration applications, and the practical side of estate administration. In family law we prepare and lodge Family Court consent orders. On property matters we advise on stamp duty; business, residential and rural contracts of sale; leasing and licensing agreements, including extensions, variations and assignments; granny flat agreements; loan agreements and mortgages; and caveats.
Our Team
Fiona Mullally is our principal solicitor. She was born in Albany and remains committed to the community here. Before she practised law she spent time travelling and gained real-world experience in the real estate and insurance industries, and started a family; she commenced her legal career in 2016. Her work covers wills, estates, property law, commercial leases and non-contentious family law.
Toni Skinner is our assistant conveyancer. She spent the last twelve years at a local settlement agency before joining us, and she is a Mount Barker local who is keen to meet clients in her own community — which is a fair description of what we are trying to do generally, which is make this part of people’s lives easier. Abby Baker, our assistant administrator, also lives in Mount Barker and is a Great Southern Grammar graduate. With two of our three staff living at Mount Barker, a client out that way is not dealing with strangers.
