A recycled steel mill taking shape in Collie
Generation Steel is building a steel mill in Collie that will make steel for the construction industry from recycled Australian scrap, using electric arc furnace technology. Our project office is on Throssell Street.
We are working with government and training bodies so that the skills of Collie’s workforce carry into steelmaking, and alongside the Shire, unions and community organisations.
